Abstract
From certain reproductions ofposters, street muráis and a comic strip magazine, this article proposes an introductory analytical approach to the urban visuality ofthe 'Unidad Popular' (Popular Unity) time, in whose complicity these manifestations were produced. It also takes into account that much ofthat complicity was not more than an expression ofa greater whole, whose most outstanding antecedents are in the decade of the 60's; whereas its moregaudy manifestations are extended until today.
