The results of a two-year longitudinal study of the beliefs about language learning in first and second year of Chinese students in Hispanic Philology reflect that they originated from their experience with English learning during secondary education. As both languages and stages of formation have different educaational objectives, their beliefs are adapted to the objectives of the career.
